SINGAPORE – Scorching days and humid nights are the norm and things look set to get even hotter.
April and May saw some of the highest temperatures recorded here, with the mercury hitting 37 deg C in mid-May in Ang Mo Kio. It has not been this hot in Singapore since 1983, when the temperature was 37 deg C in Tengah.
