As the adage goes, time in the market beats timing the market. Little wonder, then, that there are more and more young people dipping their toes in early, even before they start work. Investment clubs in local universities are among the places they can turn to for a start, as my colleague Sue-Ann Tan found out in our new podcast show, HeadSTart On Record.
Sue-Ann and I will be taking turns to host the show. New episodes will be released every first and third Monday of the month to give you a leg up in your personal finance and at the workplace. Through this show, we hope to give voice to the fresh, sharp approach that HeadSTart stands for.
I also ask experts whether job interviews can be used as a way to benchmark yourself, even if you don’t intend to quit your current job, in this week’s askST Jobs column.
Plus, we’ve got a snazzy quiz you can take here to help you discover how inclusive at the workplace you are and what areas you could still brush up on.
